I am excited to begin my medical journey at the Brody School of Medicine, a university that truly understands and prioritizes the needs of Eastern North Carolina. I know that the education and training I receive here will prepare me to serve this region with excellence and compassion. I am blessed to learn under some of the finest physicians and scientists in the state, and I am eager to see my dream of becoming a physician come to fruition. While a student, I plan to actively engage in service opportunities in the Greenville area, particularly those that support individuals living with mental disabilities. Being named a Brody Scholar is an incredible honor, and I will use every opportunity to reflect and uphold the mission and values of this prestigious program and school.
